Werid relationship between friends. help?

He is ignoring your messages because he has a girlfriend now and wants to devote his time to her, and so you shouldn't take it personally. You said, "i repect his relationship so i just wanna stay mutual" but then right before that you said you "would like to be more than friends." You're contradicting yourself. You have to keep in mind that he's in a relationship, and it's not a good idea to force yourself in his life when he has somebody else. And I'm not saying that "yu didnt do anything with him" because it's a good thing you didn't do anything that night. If you don't have a boyfriend, you shouldn't be making out with him. It's almost like friends with benefit, and that's never good. And what do you expect that he "keeps plastering ily all over everything?" That's his girlfriend, and you have to respect that. I thought you said you did respect their relationship? And even if they have been on and off for awhile, you have to give him space so he can figure out his problems with that girl. And so to answer your question about "does he know that i like him?"-- the answer is, you shouldn't be thinking that while he has a girlfriend. That toils with his emotions and feelings, having one girlfriend who he's having problems with, and having you as a friend who keeps trying to get to him. Give him room for a while and maybe then he'll figure it all out. Just give it time.
