Is 3000 US dollars considered a good salary in damascus?

I got offered 3000 US dollars in damascus, Syria as a montly salary. I am single. I just wanted to know if this is a decent salary for damascus syria. Can i live on that salary there. Is rent expensive? Can i rent a decent apartment with that?
