Okay, I looked for a roomie awhile back, wow, was I surprised,

I interviewed with some people and called some on the phone, They asked if I smoked or drank heavily I said "no" because I don't. Then they said "we'll get back to you"...and never did. One woman wanted me to room with her, in a large house, but she was so drunk she was holding on to the wall, when she showed me the room for rent. What's the deal with this, has this ever happened to you? I have also been advised by several friends to never have a roomate, because they will be nothing but trouble... Opinions please? Thanks.. : )
