No matter what I do, my Neopet has sad eyes - HELP!?

I accidently fed my Neopet some rotten omelette like a week ago and ever since he has had sad, droopy eyes where his eyelids are covering most of his eyes. I feed him every day so he's not hungry, I bought some toys and played with him, and I gave him healing potion, but none of this worked! What else can I do? Please! I want to help my Neopet but he is always sad. His mood says cheerful but he doesn't look it.
