Mahatma Gandhi in Lancashaire?

When Gandhi went to Lancashaire to see what India's boycott on British cotton had done to the cotton workers. It is said that he was greeting with respect, affection, and sympathy even though these were the workers that was hit the hardest due to his boycott. After this, he pressured Lancachaire and other textile industry cities to put pressure on Britain Government to grant India her independence and then he will remove the boycott of all British goods and clothes.
