CAN I MOVE OUT OF SOUTH CAROLINA IF I HAVE AN OPEN DSS CASE?

We have been considering moving to another state where we have more family and support for our unborn child, but i have an open dss case here in south carolina. i need to know if it is illegal for me to move. i will tell them where i am going so it can be transferred. There are no court orders and the case has only been open for a few weeks. has anyone dealt with this. i just need some answers before i contact my worker? I dont want them to have the wrong reaction.
