Gears of War 2: I got Rank 5 to 50 achievement - Will i get banned?

you won't get banned if the game glitched unless they can find evidence that you caused the glitch. If you're in a local game, it's almost certain that they won't have anything recorded to check. I think you'll be alright, although there is a chance they'll take the achievements away.
