Do you want to hear my story?

I have to agree with April on this one. Introducing a character through " hi my name is ..." is kind of cliche. You may be 12 but who knows if you want to become an author when you grow up. I started writing stories at 7 not sure if I wanted to pursue a career of writing. And by the way don't think we'll be super pitifully to you only because your 12 I'm 13 and I don't use the lame excuse of " I'm young so don't expect me to be perfect" Don't use clothing stores be original and make your own up because let's face it in a couple of years hot topic will be long gone. Also be more descriptive and maybe try reading some other well written diary like books or more first person books.
