No. I have been to France many times and can ure you that French men would not be so openly rude. Apart from anything else they are not particularly courageous. France is the only country where I have been that if you bump into one of them they apologise. Like men everywhere, if they really fancied someone else's wife they would try a bit of flirting and maybe a discreet suggestion of a little oh, la.la.
