Calluses from the gym?

I've been going to the gym for about three months now working out 4-5 times a week ranging from 30-60mins per session. I use the rowing machine and treadmill. I noticed that I am developing calluses on the back of my hand just at the start of my fingers. Am I going too much at once? What should I do? I don't want to stop my workout.
