How to get rid of Spiders?

Everynight I have spiders coming from underneath my bed and they come right next to my face everynight when am sleeping and start to crawl up my arm and this wakes me up of a night plus I hate spiders, how can I get rid of these Spiders? P.S. I pulled my bed out and my carpet had been pulled up, is this the problem? I covered the floorboard up will they stop coming?
