Help! I need some potty training advice!?

I have a 4 month old female Chihuahua puppy... I have been very diligent as far as trying to potty train her. The only problem is it doesn't matter if i put her on a feeding schedule, or take her out constantly she still insists on going in the house! I am home quite often, and it seems like she wants to be with me constantly! I cant always watch her or carry her because I have things that need to be done. I give her lots of attention, but it seems like the minuet she is away from people she goes to the bathroom... even if she just went outside. On top of all that, I cant put her in a crate because she goes to the bathroom in there too. She will even lay in her own mess! I tried making the crate smaller and it didn't work she still kept going. So now she has taken over the guest bathroom because I cant put her in a crate when I need to clean and do school work, she also goes in the bathroom as well soo im constantly cleaning up after her. I'm exhausted, please any ideas would truly be a life saver. I really dont wanna have to give up my puppy. :( ......... Oh and also she is not sick, I have taken her to the vet. I believe she is just being unreasonably stubborn.
