Getting my Masters in elementary and special education. Did I make the right choice?

I'm a 25 year old male going to Fordham University in the fall for Elementary and Special education. I never thought of becoming a teacher until I had no direction and my family thought I would be great at it. Most people I talk to think I would be perfect as an elementary school teacher. I know I will love it and it will be very rewarding but I know nothing about being a teacher and started to have second thoughts. I don't want to end up going to grad school and not wanting to become a teacher. Any advice or suggestions?
