I have to agree with April on this one. Introducing a character through " hi my name is ..." is kind of cliche. You may be 12 but who knows if you want to become an author when you grow up. I started writing stories at 7 not sure if I wanted to pursue a career of writing. And by the way don't think we'll be super pitifully to you only because your 12 I'm 13 and I don't use the lame excuse of " I'm young so don't expect me to be perfect" Don't use clothing stores be original and make your own up because let's face it in a couple of years hot topic will be long gone. Also be more descriptive and maybe try reading some other well written diary like books or more first person books.

Can anyone tell me anything about the goddess Artemis as depicted in this modern day?

i have to write a research paper and the revised rough draft is due friday. my last rough draft was missing a few things like "the lasting impression your god/goddess has had on modern literature, art, of films", "a thorough explanation of the god's lineage, the area or areas over which he or she is said to have reined" and "the story of how the god or goddess rose to importance." only the lasting impression on modern society one i really need help with but info on the others is much appreciated! my sources tell nothing of the first and little on all of the others. all i need is a tidbit of information and i'll be set for and A. so please tell me ANYTHING you know about the Greek goddess Artemis. thank you!!
